As the below photo proves, my fashion sense hasn’t changed much.

Since I was a baby till my early teens most of my clothes were hand me downs from cousins, friends, and neighbors. Most of those clothes, just like toys, were unisex, and I wasn’t very much a girly girl anyway, so it did not matter if I wore pants all the time. I wore skirts when I had to. Unfortunately those were mostly the times that were photographed.
A few weeks ago I ordered a couple of new corduroy dresses. I love them, they are comfortable, kinda pretty, and they give me an oddly familiar feeling.

And then I found a few photos from Christmas/New Year 1980-81.

It all started to make sense. Just like my sense of humor, my sense of fashion was already developed by age four.
