What books do you want to read?
Oh my gosh, where do I start?
Recently I really got into psychology again, including Logotherapy, so I have three different books by Victor E. Frankl I want to read, and one I need to finish. I enjoy reading Frankl’s own texts, and while I don’t necessarily subscribe to Logotherapy itself. One more book by Bagdy Emőke, who is one of the Frankl students in Hungary. While she currently has some non-orthodox ideas, some of her work is really great. While on the topic of psychology, I have several books by Jung that are on my to read list.
On the lighter reading list there are some cozy mysteries, and other light crime fiction that I can read on the bus or just cozied up in bed before bedtime. I am just finishing the first of the secret novels by Brandon Sanderson in the fantasy/sci-fi category, and while I want to re-read the original Dune series this year, I need to take a little break from the genre. I will be back to it soon enough. There is a new Harry Hole book that hopefully will be translated to Hungarian or English soon. I generally like the Scandinavian Noir books, but Harry Hole is my favorite. Nit that the other books by Jo Nesbo aren’t awesome, but I just kinda have that much annoyed attachment to Harry Hole that makes his adventures special.
