Spotify told me that I was in the top 5% of Piano Guy listeners. WoW. I’m fairly sure that 98% of my listening were from two songs, and the rest the Christmas playlist, that also has a ton of non-Christmas songs as well.
Before the pandemic, they had a concert in Budapest, and a good friend of mine (go listen to her music!) gifted me with a free ticket and meet and greet pass. We had a ton of fun at the concert, I totally adore her and her family. The mission president and the senior missionaries were all there, and we had wonderful seats, and…. It was just a great evening.

An equally great thing was the fireside at our stake center. As some people know, the Piano Guys are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We heard Al sing, and Jon Schmidt and Steven Sharp Nelson played some hymns for us, and they all gave short talks and shared their testimonies. It was an evening filled with the Spirit. Something Jon said has changed my way of studying the scriptures, and has improved my understanding of the gospel. I’m grateful that I had the opportunity a few years later to tell him of the change his testimony brought to mine!
